Vivitrol worked for 25 days. Got second injection. Did nothing for me. Is suboxone better?

Should I get the vivatrol shot?
| Thenextstep
Been smoking heroin for a little over a year and just spent the past week in detox. About to get out tomorrow and have the option of getting the vivatrol shot. I know I should get it but my mind keeps telling me ill be fine without it. I know I'm just lying to myself and that if I don't get it I most likely will use my first week out. How has vivatrol helped you or saved you. I know I should take the shot but I'm really not ready to quit using.
