I am on disability and my pain doc opted out of my network, can't get in to new Doc to get a new script. My apt is set in 3 weeks. Now I have to go thru withdrawal at home by myself. Years back I saw a Dr in MD mismanaged my meds & totally had me on medication overload & he took me of a fentanyl patch with out help and no other pain meds. The withdrawal and the side effects of the patch almost killed me. I have total weaned my self to taking 30mg morphine every other day and 900mg of gabapentin for about 6 months . Quite honestly I would really not take anything but I do not know if I can take the pain that I have suffered with 10 failed back surgeries and 2 neck surgeries. (all due to a truck/car collision) Right now I don't think I have any choices. My Dr gave me Vistaril 150 3x's a day. Should I continue taking my gabapentin during this time along with the vistaril ? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
