Bad reaction to medication induced Atrial Fibrillation?

Hi there, has anyone been on Imuran/Azathioprine and had a bad reaction to it? I suspect for me it triggered some heart palpitations amongst other things (nausea, vomitting, dirrahoea) , which led to some recent Atrial Fibrillation episodes/SVT.

I ve been suffering from crohns disease for 7 years and was on treatment and was coping Last summer my GP noticed my heart was beating fast and suggested to do an ECG my cardiologist found nothing serious except Etopics and no treatment was needed according him but it happened that 2 weeks ago i feltsick and dizzy that i felt i was going to faint and was rush to hospital there i was diagonised with svt now am on verapamil and it making my crohn's worse now i am through a depression never excpected this in such a short time.
