Trileptal and brain fogginess and forgetfulness
| booboocat
I was prescribed Trileptal ( actually taking the generic ) for what my pdoc calls a " mood disorder". I don't have an official diagnosis yet. Not sure if I had hypo mania but have had some very unusually bad depression in the past year that didn't respond to SSRI's. Also I was tried on brintellix which caused my mind to race, bad insomnia and extreme irritability. Anyway, I can't seem to get on top of the brain fogginess and memory issues with the new med ( oxcabazepine) although mood wise I do feel better. I take 300 msg at night is about all I can handle. Is this fogginess normal?
