Get plenty of rest nightly; sometimes a short daytime nap.
Keep moving, but don't overdue like trying to clean the whole house at one time. I had to cut way back on my daily activities, but eventually learned to balance activity. If I know that I am going to have a busy day, or want to do something extra, I take it easier the day before, and expect and accept that I may have two or three days downtime afterward. Try not to stress, it makes it worse.
I've had fibromyalgia/etc. for years and it seems to have improved; either that or I've just learned to live with it better. I don't know what it is like to not hurt somewhere in/on my body as I also have osteoarthritis & plain arthritis according to doctors. Sleep with extra pillows supporting your body, i.e., under your arm & between your legs if you are a side sleeper. Back sleeper? Put pillows under your knees, this helps lower back, and again it helps to put a small pillow under each arm to keep them level with your body. I also take some medication for another problem that helps me sleep better at night. Check out a book on fibromyalgia at the library or buy one, reading about it and using the suggestions helped me. I also try to keep upbeat by watching funny TV shows; laughter is the best medicine. Good luck to all who have it. I was diagnosed about 20 years ago & do more today than I did in beginning.
