I've had 42 mercilon pills to date, ever since I started my skins has become a lot worse than before. I had relatively good skin but now I'm lucky if I only get 1 new pimple a day. my cheeks and chin are particularly bad, I wouldn't recommend this pill for people who don't want acne.

Mercilon is awful, it has not stopped me ovulating on my own and has caused several overian cysts during the short time I have used it. A friend of mine also got pregnant while using mercilon, I would not recommend this pill to anyone.

In 2008 I was diagnosed with PCOS I tried two different contraceptives to treat it and it was not a success. I then decided to spot taking contraceptives all together due to weight gain, hair breakage. That was not the best idea , when I was not on any contraceptive I then missed a menstrual cycle for 5 months and then I had excessive bleeding for three months. I then approached my Gynea and she then recommended that I start using Mercilon. I started to use it March 2015 and I went for my check up September 2015 and the Cyst have dramatically changed in size. So hopefully by my next check up in March 2016 my PCOS will be a thing of the past. It takes time and patience to see results I thank God first of all and my doctor.
