NEVER EVER START PAXIL!!!!
| terr
I have breast cancer now and I know It is Because of the Paxil. People, never ever go on Paxil. It makes you gain weight. I gained 50 pounds, completely lost my libido, Made me lazy and non caring. God, I wish I had never started that wicked drug. I wish there was a law suit against the makers of Paxil.

Inderal 20mg

Definitely works for anxiety but it's awful on your stomach. Nausea and dizziness. Don't like the frantic feeling and cold feet feeling. Very scary. I only take it for anxiety and quitting tomorrow and going back on Lexapro. Also insomnia.

I have pernicious anemia. My Doctor had me on monthly B12 injections. After seeing my family Doctor for nearly 20 years, they no longer took my insurance. Onto new Doctor who has me on the daily sublingual B12 instead of shots.I also take 20 mg of Lexapro daily. I noticed a big difference in the B12 shots & the sublingual B12. The B12 shots gave me a lot more energy along with feeling better emotionally.w/ the sublingual B12, I barely have any energy ,very tiredThe last Doctor visit showed that my B12 levels had increased a "little",so the Doctor wanted to keep me on the sublingual B12. I would very much like to go back to the B12 shots. Have told this Doctor I was on B12 shots for 10 yrs. I asked for the bloodwork to make sure the B12 was being absorbed b/c I usually don't absorb vitamins in my gut? My next appointment is in 5 weeks, should I ask for repeated bloodwork or just ask to be put back on B12 shots? Thank you!

Been on lexapro 10 mg for a little less then 2 months for general anxiety. Had a full panic attack where the emts had to be called. Since this attack I've been experiencing black outs/fainting for up to 2 hours at a time. After lots of neurological testing and appointments it has been determined it is the lexapro causing these symptoms. I am scared to drive or go to work for fear I will faint there. Pretry sure I am going to lose my job because of this.

Lexapro and Breast Enlargement
| Bluelady
Due to my personal history of depression icw SSRI and SSNRI mediications, I have used Lexapro on 3 different occasions (as well as trying a wealth of other similar meds) and each time on the drug, I have experienced breast enlargement. I am a woman and above middle aged. The increase is perhaps not noticeable to others, yet I certainly am aware of the increase in size. It is not a condition I find "enjoyable" as I am already "healthily endowed". My doc raises his brow in reaction to my report but finds it not important. Otherwise, I have had no seriously bothersome side effects with Lexapro other than periodic "sweats". Cymbalta is a drug I had a very bad reaction to and would not favor using it again.

Been on lexapro for 12 years. It's a wonder drug for me. It's given me a shot at living a quality life. The problem--weight gain! Argh! I'm up about 50 pounds from when I started it. If I could do away with the weight gain....my life would be even more awesome than it is right now!

Fainted after 4 days on Lexapro
| London
Beware! Ambulance took me to ER yesterday when I fainted while having lunch with my Mother. I had taken Lexapro just 4 times. I also had a small dosage of Ativan (for anxiety) that may have contributed to my dehydration. The combination of the two drugs apparently don't agree with my system. Scary stuff! I had blood tests, etc. done and was treated with IV fluids in ER - then released, stopped meds until I meet with my doctor in a couple days.

Lexapro, sleepwalking state and alcohol
| miss dinguette
I drank more red wine than usual traveling with a friend. I took Lexapro in same time frame. In the morning, my friend woke me up, saying, "Turn over, you're snoring." I was sure I was awake because I could hear him clearly - 3 times! - and I replied clearly that I wasn't snoring; I was awake. He said no, you're not. I don't think I was paralyzed, because I turned onto my back finally. But I never heard myself snoring. (I may have sleep apnea, too.) Sound familiar to anyone? First time, btw.

Lexapro and Hiccups
| Lauren
Okay so I started taking Lexapro and Wellbutrin in the summer and started having a bunch of random hiccups. I didn't really notice it until a few months ago. I asked my doctor if he thought it could be a side effect and apparently yes, it is. This is do weird to me but..yeah.

Yawning is a side affect because of oxygen intake changing so the hiccups sounds normal when thinking about that. Any time I have to restart Lexapro I yawn soooo much.
