I started Levothyroxine sodium 25MCG about 3 days ago after my doctor told me that I am slightly hypo and for the last 2 days I have been experiencing diarrhea, stomach craps, nausea... I'm probably going to have to call my Doctor on Monday.

Just curious what your Dr ended up telling you or doing about the diarrhea. I am in the exact situation right now. I just started taking Levothyroxine Sodium 25mcg about 3 days ago as well. Last 2 days have been bad diarrhea, cramps, bloating etc. I thought it was the protein shake I started about the same time but I did not drink any today and still have the symptoms. After reading about people having the same issue when taking the LTS, it makes me think the med could be my cause as well. I will probably call my own Dr tomorrow morning but just curious what you found out.

The reason you didn't get diarrhea with the 50 mcg table is because it doesn't have a lot of fillers and other stuff like sugar free sweeteners ,which by the way, can does cause diarrhea.

levothyroxine has mannitol in it which is a type of sugar free sweeter. I have the same reaction to it and am switching to another brand.
