Herpes and Pink Eye
| Cristyb
I've been diagnosed with Herpes four times. The first is the worst. I feel it coming on because of "flu type" symptoms on the left side of my vagina. I have never had Herpes on my right side. I was prescribed oral meds and lidocaine...? gel. This reduces the pain. I've been under stress. I also have pink eye - which I have NEVER had in my life. Are Herpes and Pink Eye related? My birthday is tomorrow and all I want to do is hide under the sheets and pray the day is over. Who in the world gets Pink Eye at 59 years old? Isn't this an infant/toddler thing? Ugh.

I have terminal cancer and it helps me, albeit with the side effects of the multitude of the othe tablets intake. There is no harm at all in trying. But hey, what do I know, right?

Yes, I've tried all pharmaceuticals over the years to no avail. I found "The worlds best herpes formula" at Smarthealth Naturopathics and never looked back, gone for good.

I was diagnosed with Herpes II in the 70's. It went dormant for most of my life but has recently returned as I developed hyperthyroid (which was triggered by taking OTC thyroid supplement...stupid me). I tried everything for the herpes, not realizing it had been triggered by the hyperthyroid at first. I finally found relief with a digital frequency zapper (they all work if they are sophisticated). My zapper was almost $600. After awhile, that stopped working so well, but I noticed as I was treating my hyperthyroid, the herpes symptoms also calmed down. I am taking a fraction of the recommended dose of methilmazole (.25 mg because I have bad side effects if I take more) and also 500 mg of L-Carnetine per day. The L-Carnetine seems to be making the big difference for both the hyperthyroid and the herpes. L-lysine did nothing for me at all. Please talk to your doctor about these medications and don't dose yourself. I just want to share what is working for me.

herpes simplex 1 and use of smallpox vaccine
| gmakaren4137
at 13 I experienced an excessive amount of blisters on my lips that could range from one to multiple sores over a period of 6 months. My primary physician suggested having a smallpox vacination every month for a year to eliminate the virus causing the blisters. After receiving the vacination 12 times in the year, I no longer showed any signs of the virus until I was 25 in 1976.Even then I did not get the blisters very often. It was not until in 1989 I began to get the virus more often and my primary physician gave me Zovirax. It helped me keep the virus from repeating. In 2014 I have begun to have regular periods of the virus causing blisters. I now use acyclovir and abreviation. Although they do help with the length of time of the telltale sores with the itching. My granddaughter now shows signs of regular bouts of the virus. My father and paternal grandmother both also had the virus. Is Herpes Simplex 1 an hereditary illness or is it just that we infect each other when we do not realize we have the virus

COCCYDYNIA (tailbone pain) AND HSV-2 (and rape by deception), etc.
| AVOIDABLE MISERY
Not only did I develop SEVERE coccydynia with my first set of HSV-2 outbreaks, but I was nearly paralyzed from the waist down for two weeks and had to have months of physical therapy. Doctors and friends kept asking me if I FELL. No, I didn’t fall. I was assaulted by simply having “consensual” sex with someone who lied to my face about his status and habits. Guess what? THAT’S NOT CONSENT. That’s rape by deception, a moral CRIME at least, and if anyone does it to you and you’re in a state where you can sue them for it, SUE THE #$%@ out of them. It took me a little while to figure out that I had genital herpes. I had NO OTHER INJURY to cause this, and the prodromal pain I have is the SAME PAIN I had immediately before/precipitating, as well as during, the paralysis. It started with my butt hurting in this really strange way. Then, my dorsal ganglia was so impacted by the virus that my sacrum twisted up and literally poked out of my body and my tailbone was pointing the wrong way. It was like I’d been in a severe car accident. I’d share an x-ray image (the distortion of my lower skeleton would have scared the crap out of you), which the doctor ordered, but the technician refused to do an x-ray because I’d had sex and “could be pregnant,” which I was not. I write this because the tailbone/sacrum (dermatome) problems related to this virus are often ignored, or worse, some doctors claim it doesn’t happen. WELL, IT DOES. Your symptoms are real. My experience was horrific. I, my body and life have never been the same since my perpetrator did this to me. I still have weird “butt pain” and tingles on my buttocks and tailbone sensitivity. Two years later, I’m finally able to sit without a cushion, but it’s not always entirely comfortable. I got tested regularly and was very communicative with my partners. Unfortunately, I came across someone of pure evil. If you aren’t going to tell someone you have this disease, THEN DON’T HAVE SEX WITH THEM. To summarize, I encourage those of you who have similar/related experiences with herpes 2 and the tailbone to share them … here, all over the internet, with trusted friends, and with your doctor. The ignorance and epidemic transmission has to end. HSV-2 is not “just a skin disease” for many of us. And HSV-1 isn’t that “simple,” either, by the way. My father had to have brain surgery for trigeminal neuralgia, and I believe it was from herpes 1. And he’s not the only person I know with HSV-1 who developed TN. This stuff is NO JOKE. Don’t mess with it. Unless you love someone. If you really love someone, it’s probably worth the risk. I was with someone a decade ago who had HSV-2, and he was honest and careful, so I didn’t get it. I didn’t get it til someone was an evil pig to me. I wouldn’t be nearly as traumatized if it were a risk I consciously took with someone I loved. There’s a HUGE difference. To reiterate: doctors don’t know everything, and medical knowledge ALWAYS has to catch up with reality. It’s just how things work. Please share your experiences. I could use the fellowship. And if you have this too, let me just say, in case no one else has: I'm sorry (unless you're a wicked perp, in which case, I think you deserve it).
