Does Hashimoto disease increase your blood pressure level?
| k.jones
My first experience with a thyroid issue was back in 2012 as my face had swollen over night. Went to see Dr. and took blood work, my thyroid wasn't functioning properly so was put on thyroid med and for the next 2 years the dosage was adjusted. Finally in 2015 and after gaining 50 lbs. a ENT doctor said I have Hashimoto's and had a ultrasound and blood work done. So now thyroid med is good but my blood pressure is high and have to take a med for that. I am wondering if high blood pressure has anything to do with Hashimoto's?
