Prescription drug interaction with probiotics
| Sandra12
I am taking potassium, allopurinol, triamterene/hctz, simvastatin, ibuprofen and
amitriptyline. Does a probiotic pill interact with any of these prescription drugs?

I know according to physiology and their website Florastor is not supposed to cause yeast infections but I always end up getting them once I've been taking it consistently for a couple days.
I have to think the yeast species out competes another bacterial strain that would ordinarily prevent the growth of candida. It's rather unfortunate since Florastor is highly effective. The hunt continues.
