I had septacaine 3 days ago for two upper left back fillings,my cheek and corner of mouth are still droopy,I have tingling sensation off and on,but no numbness and no pain....? I'm nervous.I also experienced severe headache and went to the er the night Ihad the procedure done ...do I think it sounds like nerve damage from injection or the use of septacaine? Either way I got a bad feeling about this drug.I've never had a problem in my life with dental work before this.

I have not yet been diagnosed with ms but have many symptoms , the most recent brain mri was not definitive so I have to go back in 6 months. right now I have tennis elbow in both arms and in my right my ring finger and my little finger are numb and very painful. I have been on Lyrica for 2 years waiting for a spinal fusion surgery. I had c3,4, and 5 fused but it did not stop the numbness or tingling in the arms and hands and now I have balance issues and sharp pains in my legs that cause my leg to buckle. My face gets this weird tingling and I now drop stuff all the time. What do you think is the problem? I don't want surgery only to find out it was ms all this time.

I have elevated IGM, 660, with fairly severe peripheral neuropathy. I was a runner, but now I can hardly walk. The neuropathy started about 7 months ago as a mild numbness. Now its a consistent burning tingle pain.
One Dr wants me to try Rituxan to treat the neuropathy. I am very nervous about this as I ve read that Rituxan can actually cause neuropathy. Has anyone had success with treating for IGM, neuropathy with Rituxan infusion?

Rituxan took my B cells down quite a bit. I had one dose followed by another in 2 weeks. I wore a mask between so I couldn't catch a cold and have to wait any longer. The medicine causes few side effects - Trust me, It worked in only 2 treatments. - the numbers started coming down nicely. All was looking amazing! Methotrexate was added as the treatment usually goes, My liver almost quit completely on me. That took only one or two doses. I am still babying it . I would go for the Rituxan (non blood product) first...Methotrexate made the world great again by many others so whatever you wish you success and hope that it targets what you need it to. Please study the drug by reading good articles out of trusting publications and ask doctors.

Mirena decreased my quality of life
| monica-f
I could write pages on the horror story I have been living over the last 4 years but I will simply list the multiple complications I developed. Some I knew were a result of the Mirena, some I was only able to contribute after reading and researching.
Had Mirena almost 4 years and went to my FNP on 3 separate occasions to ask for it to be removed only for her to convince me that my symptoms were not result of the Mirena.
Insertion went well, menstrual cycle stopped. Over the course of the 4 years;
Developed perioral dermatitis (acne around my mouth and chin)
Lost a LOT of hair. Gained 25 pounds despite healthy eating and active lifestyle. Developed weakness in arms, numbness in hands and back pain. Saw a neurologist and had MRI. Could not find anything wrong. At the time I never thought it could be the MIrena. Also started having heart palpations, dizziness, anxiety attacks, constipation. Saw a Cardiologist and had a stress test and ECHO. Both were normal, again at the time did not contribute this to the Mirena. All that was within the first 2 years and continued. Over the last 2 years I have had headaches, depression, mood swings, SEVERE anxiety attacks that had me convinced I was going to die. Fatigue, loss of libido, painful intercourse and bloating. I had a mild case of TMJ prior to Mirena and also had some mild occasional degenerative type knee pain. Both are extremely worse and I now have hip joint pain as well. Looking back over the last 4 years and all the complications I have had, it is no coincidence. I was a healthy person with no medical history until I had the Mirena placed. I don't know how long it will take but I PRAY I will feel like my normal self again soon.

Hi I was hoping someone could give me some info ?? I was referred to neurosurgeon by gp . My c2 and c3 has fused c4567 all have bulges. No significant compression . Anyway most days I'm in a lot of pain I get numb arms hands spasms in neck and lower back limited neck movement actually feel like bones are grinding. Sometimes I get deep purple pink rash on fingers . Sometimes my hands kinda claw . I pee constantly mostly constipated don't know if tmi sorry. Any way I was convinced this was all coming from neck but neurosurgeon has said proximal myopathy and systemic condition . Anything I have googled is terrifying me. There are other things to like babinski and Hoffman sign bit clumsy tired walking summertime really anxious like hearts gonna jump out of chest.

Worst pain, ignorant dental practices....don't know how much more I can tolerate ! Help!!
| Mama Z
I have never been in so much continuous pain! Ready to go to the emergency room, but have 3 kids sleeping and my husband has to go to work soon. I don't know what to do. Can't eat, or drink, had tooth extracted on Tuesday, today is Sunday. .had treatment for dry socket on Friday and is been worse and worse. Pain meds only dull pain for about 2 hours if that. Should i go to er, can they range a look and repack this hole in my gums? I have had the c worst experience with Dentists. When they packed it on Friday they just went in and flushed it without any shots or numbing, hurt soooo bad i cried in the chair. Then he gave me 800 ibuprofen even though i tools him it didn't help with pain all week, then he forgot to mention that i should come back for ca couple more treatments, I found out tonight when i called dentist and they called me back reeling me i should come back right away on monday. This is HORRIBLE. .I can't even rest

What's wrong with my finger tip?
| aleryia
The tip of my middle finger recently became numb like 3 days ago and I just noticed a slight discoloration too. However, there is no pain nor feeling at the tip of my middle finger. Do i have anything or not?

Would guess a pinched nerve
And could be blocking some blood flow. Maybe try massage to improve circulation
