Vistaril gave me night sweats!
| HJbj
I went to the hospital the day before yesterday for palpitations,I was prescribed Hydroxyzine 25mg and the ER Dr. gave me 50mg to "calm my nerves" well it seemed like it did wonders. Next morning I woke up with palpitations(136BPM),shaking, sweating COLD in hands, feet and stomach(i never ever sweat even if my ac it's on, I looked it up and there was none of the symptoms I experienced, so I typed "Hydroxyzine and night sweats" and so on, turns out that terrible experience was caused by that 50mg I just ripped the prescription in half I don't want more palpitations, ever, and my hands and feet still sweating, it's half biological lifeits 20-24hrs so hopefully for tomorrow it's completely out of my system. It will really suck if I get permanent sweaty hands and feet.

seizure from saline flush
| crohns-mom
my daughter experienced a seizure during the flush before her first Remicade treatment. She finally came out of it, and the medical staff passed it off as her passing out. I have never seen anyone pass out like that before... arched back and eyes rolling back... slightly shaking... I am frightened to take her back. Do these lessen the more flushes?

I have been taking propranolol for a little over 4 months now for shaking and tremors. The shaking of my hands has improved to the point where it is easier to write, however, the shaking of my head seems to have increased. Also the propranolol causes me to feel cold and chilly quite abit.

I have been diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus,40 years ago,due to excessive thirst, and under went the water deprecation test.I am on 2-3 DDAVP a day.I take it when I dehydrate. In the summer,I have longer periods of time, needing to take my DDAVP.I had a medical incident last week and had to go to the ER. I started to shake and tremor.I was this wAy for 8 hours till the ER Drs. Figured out the case. My Blood test, showed LOW SALT level.I am Blessed to have a Great Internist. But untill I am able to see her, even in the hospital,it is quite the ordeal.I have had ERCP ,and ended back at my home hospital, vomiting, hardly breathing, and nurses staying they know all about Diabetes Insioidus, and think it's sugar diabetes. Or one Drxwill say Diabetes is common, and nothing to worry about, and states he is the Dicter. My spouse tells them, my diagnoses, and asks them for IV,they delay....I was in the hospital five days this past time, due to low salt in blood,Dr was afraid I'd get to much salt my blood, verses to low salt into blood.Withdrawal of DDAVP,IV fluids, then the both then just the IV fluids, then know IV,DDAVP,thenlittefluid by mouth for twenty four hours, then threeDDAVP pills a day fir a few days.DDAVP works Excellant, taken when you dehydrate or as Dr Orders. I had never been low in salt for 40 yrs. I am very happy with DDAVP ....Hope this helps some one... all the best...Gid Bless You All. Lorraine Foot Canada.

I am a 10 year pain patient. I got 30 mg Cymbalta for 35 days. I ended up with dryness to the mouth, eyes, face. Additionally I got headaches, tremors, night mares, nausea, vertigo, dizziness, blurry vision. Basically all the symptoms from the side effects from the list. Finally I got blackouts (in my car) and became close to blind. I have been off for 30+ days, and I am 30%+ back to normal. I am a man so I do not know about vaginal dryness, but it made me dry. I am still so dry, that I cannot tolerate any of my other medicine without reaching a critical lack of water in my head which makes my loose my vision. Thinking of joining the class act law suit on Cymbalta - it nearly killed me. So I am also enjoying my pain and withdrawal - since I currently tolerate no medicin. I think if it can make you dry - it can probably make you dry anywhere. Hope you can use the information. Happy New Year from Denmark.

Since I have been on Multaq for 3 months have developed anxiety and a slight tremor in my hands. I Have zero energy and because it started after I had been on Multaq. I'm suspicious that is the cause. I was on Betapace for 21 years with no episodes. I had two episodes of A-Fib within seven months and I know exactly why they happened. One I was overtired dehydrated, had a migraine and hadn't eaten. The second one seven months later is because I stupidly drink and iced cappuccino that was loaded with caffeine. I know that triggered it. I think two episodes in 21 years is a pretty good record. And I think this was a fluke. I don't like Multaq I want to go back on Betapace. Will talk to my doctor about it this week.

I've been waking up with severe lower leg cramps and on other occasions with brain tremors, or a rattling in my head. A check of my CK levels prompted med. to stop the drug. Leg cramps have disappeared within days and the brain tremors remain, the latter may be unrelated to the drug but I'm hoping this too will disappear.
