Has anyone had family members with MG been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer? Being immunocompromised makes chemo not an option. Did the MG speed up the cancer progression? My mom has MG for 4 years, on Cellcept and IVIG. Now diagnosed the stage 4 colon cancer that had broke thru her colon and into her bladder. Had a 8 cm tumor in her colon. Had a bowel resection with a colostomy. Any input would be helpful. Seems that no one can give me an answer. She will be coming home with Palliative/Hospice care, but no time frame...

Help... I am trying to help my mother who is 78 and for the first time in her entire life was diagnosed with BP 5 years ago. Last year she was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis appears to be just ocular at this time. Can BP cause MG? She was only given celxa 10mg and resperdial in very low dose 25mg bid. I lost faith in her psychiatrist long time ago.. She is in a horrible situation I ave an older bother that is verbally abusive to her and he is in stage 4 cancer, (they live together for past 12 yrs) I am desperate at this time an suggestions

I have a lot of problem with phlegm in the throat - never associated it with MG (dx 1.5 year ago) but now I am wondering. Has anyone had success with a suction machine? Mucinex helps, but just a little.
