I was told by a very reputable dr friend to take 3 cosamine a day and aleve 2 a day for three months. THEN take one cosamine for life. I avoided knee surgery for 3 years. No got lazy and quit taking it. I had meniscus surgery and was told I needed a knee replacement. I started back on the cosamine regime about 6 weeks ago and am doing very well.
