I have been on both, they both cause in my opinion unacceptably high side effects...
Benazapril .. Erectile dysfunction top of the list, crippling fatigue all the time second....
Lisinopril ... Worse erectile dysfunction, dizzy allot, fatigue just wanted to sleep all of the time..

So if your goal is to have no sex life at all and be tired constantly no matter how much sleep you get, these are the drugs for you....

Lisinapril VS Benazarpil and ED
| Chris
I was on Benazapril for 2 years, never got the cough or any other sides BUT it was really killing my erections badly, I know I am the 1% with this side effect... Went to Doc today and he switched me to Lisinipril, they are the same class of med, won't I have the same issues with this drug or is it different enough not to cause this? ED meds like Viarga etc are so damn expensive and really do not want one more drug to take... thank you

Had the same issues with Benazapril, went to doc like you did and he gave me :Losinipril, so now I have all of the fatigue of Benazatpril , dizzy, worse erectile issues .... no thank you to either drug, and beta blockers are even worse.... Yes you will have the exact same problems and Viagra helps SOME but is no magic cure and is expensive.... Same issues but in my case they were even worse than the other drug.....

"No it was not Lisinopril, it was Benazepril-hctz. ...i did research on the side effects of Lisinopril and man that there drug will F you up. Yup that's how bad it is. I've noticed that in most BP meds... "

The side effects of these drugs are worse than the condition in my opinion, there are plenty of natural ways to lower bp and they work, no nonger going to be a slave to these poisons... and if you really research these 2 drugs you get to look forward to kindey issues, liver issues or heart issues later on.... no thanks...done Best of luck to you..
