Recurring Skin Fungal/Candida overgrowth...
| Jro
Ive struggled with fungal overgrowth on my skin for 30+ years. So much so that Ive learned to let it do its thing as long as possible. When the scaling/itching/red rough skin gets too bad and gets on my face, I have a three day regimen that I use to get it back under control. At night, I apply Benedryl HCL Gel head to toe, in the morning i wash entire body with ketroconazole shampoo, then after shower i lotion from head to toe with Lachydrin. I repeat this process for three days. The itchy, red scaling crumbles away en mass. This is no cure. This has to be repeated at least once per year usually. I have noticed since changing to a vegan paleo diet with no sugars has greatly reduced the frequency and severity of my fungal/candida episodes but again, its an ongoing treatment. There has never been a cure to the best of my knoweledge and every person responds to different treatment regimens differently.
