Albuterol seemed to cause extreme behaviors in Kepra patient.
| Unidentified User
Non-verbal resident on 750mg Kepra twice daily was prescribed Albuterol to ease chest congestion and relieve labored breathing. Side effects began to surface withing 2 hours of first dose of Albuterol: Extreme hyperactivity, thrashing in chair / bed, extreme emotion swings (from sobbing to laughing etc). It took 36 hours after D/C Albuterol for most of side effects to wear off. In short, the Albuterol seemed to dull the generally positive effects of the Kepra with a side of extreme emotional swings.

Me personally this drug did NOT help me. I think at first it did its job but then I atarte throwing up around 4-5 hours later. My face gets really puffy and one time there was even blood in my eyes from coughing so hard. When my face gets puffy like this should I wait it out or seek help. I recently switched to Xopenex (which is awesome) but I accidentally took the old one instead and threw up!! :(

albuterol/hair loss
| lynda
My family doctor took me off albuterol and symbicort and put me on Breo. Within 3 days, my hair quit falling out. I no longer need my rescue inhaler. I don't know how expensive this drug is, as I was given a free coupon for the first month. You only take it once a day. I take mine in the morning and the next morning I'm still not short of breath. I don't usually endorse any drugs, but this one is fantastic. The only down side of it is that you have to rinse your mouth after use.

Asthma medication and tiredness
| Amy
I have been taking two puffs of albuterol three times a day per the doctor and this morning I can barely function because I'm so tired. I could not find tiredness listed on side effects until I cam across this site. Thank you for making me not feel so alone with this side effect.
