I know this is a bit late for your comment, but I think you'll be fine.

You're probably self inflating that BP by becoming anxious about it. 96BPM is not very high, you just need to try and relax yourself. If you're extremely worried about it, try buying some lower dose patches.

Methylphenidate has a lot of consequential issues. The side effects cause more side effects.
It is registered as an over stimulant. So I will wake you up, set off severe depression by suppression some much needed brain chemicals, then stir it all up so you can't sleep, then disorganizes your thinking and concentration. Talk to the manufacturer, they can explain it better than I can. But I did, and now I understand why with some people it wakes them up but makes them want to kill themselves. Not

I would try to find a good acupuncturist and tell your story to them. You might be surprised by the pressure points that can help with emotions, meaning too much manic, or not enough. It would be worth it to find a good acupuncturist , many ailments are treatable, with swift results.
