Phentermine and chills
1207views
The same thing happens to me and I'm on 30mg. It's the second time I've taken them and I experienced sweats and chills the first time but much worse than now. I agree with the others, your body is probably still trying to get used to it, so it's probably best to try a lower dose

Danielle is right. You probably are taking too much. I had the same issue at first and then cut back on my dose and things got much better. Your body will get used to the medication. I have had weight loss success but I do have to be very conscious of what is going on in my body so that I can confer with my doctor about the changes. We've been able to play around with the dosage and are still working to find the write combination. Are you in touch with your doctor?

I forgot to mention that belviq has been approved by the FDA. They even have free samples but you have to get the prescription from your doctor. Go to their website and check it out. Good luck on your weight loss journey.

I've been taking phentermine since 2006 off and on. It works really well for weightloss. You might want to half your pill and work your way up to a whole pill. If this is a new medication for you it's probably just your body reaction to these new chemicals in your body. Try taking it on an empty stomach and eating about 20 minutes afterwards. Please let me know how it works out.

Most likely in both cases here- you are having an allergic reaction. Did you contact your doctor about the severe side effects you were having? I've been on phentermine and what people have to be careful of is consuming alcohol with it, because it can lead to a very unpleasant blackout. I too suffer from anxiety and phentermine exacerbates those feelings because it stimulates the central nervous system. Everyone reacts to it differently and usually within 6-8 weeks a tolerance is developed and

Wow,the red face, severe hot flashes. I have them both, AND my liver enzymes went sky high. I have been taking it for months,,so now to slowly (they say not to stop abruptly) get off of phentermine. It seems like everything bad, points to this medicine.

Suboxone films and oral cancer

I also just recently was diagnosed with oral cancer of the tongue and I too am a suboxone user. I have been thinking the same thing as you and thinking that it may be linked together, but I am so afraid to find out if it is, in fact, the reason. Where exactly was your cancer? Mine is on the left lateral border of my tongue. I haven't had the surgery yet. I am still in the process of figuring out who is going to perform the surgery. Any information that you may have on this would be helpful. I

Taking Tramadol & Phentermine Together

The MD knew withdrawals are going to be expected. I was given chlonodine and phentermine to help. It worked will and now I am off meds. All this tx was supported by studies. A general MD will not have the knowledge to feel comfortable.

Try to find a MD who is a pain management specialist along with being an addiction specialist or addictionologist. These doctors are much more knowledgeable on pain management along with other treatment that will help support your pain management. For example, my pain management MD had me on a pain med from a chronic injury. He also discovered I needed testosterone. After a year of treatment my chronic pain was feeling so much better that we decided to try to stop the pain meds. The MD kne

Suboxone addiction and Cancer

Dude. Your MD is an IDIOT. suboxone is super addictive. I don't know if you have health insurance or how your plan works, change doctors. Go to addiction medicine and find a suboxone group. I go to Kaiser Permanente in West Covina Ca. I know how you feel. I've been on and off suboxone for 3 years. I'm tapering now. It makes me incredibly nauseous and I'm sick of having to carry around MEDS to feel shitty. I was taking 6-10 mgs daily. Now I'm taking 3 mgs a day (half a pill 3x a day). Google "su

I had been on suboxone once for 18 months and it was no 10 day withdrawalsl like heroin or other opiates. It took me two months before the withdrawals finally stopped. Hot and cold flashes, sweating profusely, body aches, etc. etc. And that was just stopping and not tapering. You should taper down first, even if its as much as 2 mg a week but dont just dump it. get down to 1-2 mg a day first and then dump it. That would be my advice.

Sub will make you shprt of breathe but the doctor says there are a lot of meds you CANNOT take while taking sub because it can make you stop breathing
August 4, 2014
Nice that it cut off all my post. Long story short, all I said was consult your Sub doctor and let him know your concerns, he may lower your dosage or spread your dose throughout the day in smaller bits, or discontinue use if it is really affecting you that badly to where it is worrying you, and it obviously is because you came online and wrote about it. It happens in your sleep as well, and sometimes worse than when you are awake, keep that in mind, Good luck.
Krave  |  July 11, 2014
A side affect of Suboxone is breathing problems. I have been taking Sub for about a year and a half now and just within the past 4 to 6 months started having difficulty breathing. It was probably a coincidence that you started your other medication at the same time as having the breathing problems. I wouldn't call it a "drowning" feeling as much as just wheezing and I feel there is a blockage in my throat. When I breath in you can hear the wheeze (not crackly just obstructed). I just make sure
Krave  |  July 11, 2014
I feel like I am drowning at night when I finally lay down. Stuffy nose, thinning hair, and mood swings are symptoms I suffer from since I take synthroid. I think I would rather just suffer from my hypothyroidism!
Tanya  |  June 22, 2014
It's the suboxone, it took a while to hit me too but I know I hold my breath (unknowingly) because of it.
Dez  |  May 1, 2014
OMG I can relate to you so well. It's really scary when I get the shortness of my breath. I feel like I'm drowning or like I need to get more air. I'm also having muscle jerks constrantly but they do not hurt just feel strange. My body feels like it's numb or asleep. If I sit very still my neck jerks . I also have hypothyroid and now moderate arthritis in my neck. I'd love to hear back from you or anyone who can relate. Larsy1566

You may feel like to begin with, but watch what you eat. I am not craving squash and zucchini with chicken. I lost 20 pounds in just over 2 months taking phentermine and all I did was change what I ate. No diet, just changed eating habits. Drinks lots and lots of water, it helps tremendously!! Good luck!!

The best way to combat the aftertaste of the film is to drink a regular RedBull. It will take the nasty aftertaste away and leave the RedBull taste remaining. With that being said, the combination of subs and RedBull make an interesting feeling that you can become addicted to. You have to wait until it fully resolves first before you start drinking. Good luck with your recovery abs sobriety.

I started phentermine almost 2 months ago... I had a baby in march, and I am pretty sure my tubes were tied, but I am now 13-18 days late for my period. I know the chances of getting prego are slim when your tubes get tied but I am having all the symptoms and a freaked out to take a test.

fever blister from phentermine 30mg
Just a thought, because I too get cold sores - maybe you aren't drinking enough water so your lips got too dry, which could cause a cold sore. So indirect relation? or coincidence?
Ang  |  October 9, 2014
This isn't from phentermine specifically - but if you are prone to cold sores, stress can bring them on. And, if you were having anxious feelings, this could feel stressful. I get them, but haven't noticed any "sudden" eruptions or change in the occurrence since being on phentermine.
