Hi, congratulations on your Wedding, And your on going mental health.
I've been on a high dose of mirtazapine for 5 years and piled on weight, as well as a strong opiate, and gabapentin for arthritis.
Anyway, I've managed to lose nearly 3 stone so far by using diet whey protein, with almond milk.
I have two a day, one around lunch or a bit later which i add some fruit, like strawberries, pine apples etc, you can be it fresh or buy frozen packs made for smoothies from supermarkets.

Hello I just wanted to let you Kno I was in the same boat and I can tell you now Mirtazapine will make it worse, because my bipolar is mostly depression with manic phases I was put on Mirtazapine up to 45 then told them I feel a lot worse this was a month after I had them put up so it wasn't like the first 2 weeks of feeling worse, anyway my psych lowere it to 30 and now take quetiapine 75 mg as well its an anti psychotic and its helped me a lot I think u should suggest to ur Dr that the meds

Please look up Mirtazapine online, I had a doctor prescribe this med with out my knowledge. I ended up with swelling of my toes & ankles, passing out , and manic depression. I ended up baker acted from this med, please tell your Doctor you would like to try something else or seek another Doctor. Good luck I will be praying for you.
