Does anyone know if you can have the numbing shots at the dentist (to fix a cavity) while in LDN?

LDN and FSGS
Where can I find an expert who rx's LDN for FSGS sufferers (other autoimmune sequelae)?

Lynn
Is this Teva naltrexone the fast acting or slow acting type? If it is not the fast acting what do I tell my doctor to prescribe? I want the fast acting. I am not sure if the LDN is working, but I haven't gotten any worse. I don't have MS as far as I know but am positive for several autoimmune diseases including RA, Lupus, Sjogrens, Fibromyalgia. I wouldn't be surprised if I do have MS, just never got tested for it. Not cured, but not worse.

Fast acting. Slow release is shown not to have an effect. I am in the same boat, Lynn. Only I can't get Dr. to prescribe. Can't wait to try it.

i heard 1.5 might be a top dose for Hashi. Might want to actually go back a ways... fatigue might be from trying to detox too quickly.

I and many of my members on this group GOT ENDORPHINS? LDN on facebook use this for many issues.. it works for sooooo many..

reconsidered
Thank to all.
Just got a MS diagnosis although I declined spinal tap and have been researching this disease ever since. In fact , I requested LDN from my neuro. I could tell he was somewhat perplexed by my request. A big thanks goes to Knuckle for his info on CA-AEP. I have not tried it yet but it sounds like a dream. since I am also a Type 2 diabetic. My biggest issues are fatigue and short term memory loss. Provigil helps but I might be missing something here. Have never heard of recent-recall remedies.

Seems like I cant tolerate LDN because of my histamine intolerance
Hi all.

I have been taking LDN for a few months now and keep getting histamine attacks (I have a severe histamine intolerance).

I am taking LDN because I have CFS and would love to have more energy and less pain.

I havent had histamine attacks for 1,5 years because I have been eating very low in histamine. But ever since starting LDN I have had 3 attacks already.

Is there a correlation? Do you know? Any Experience?

I would be VERY grateful for any advice!!

Thank you very much!!

Dont give up, start at .5 mg and work up each 5-6 weeks by another half a mg, that is how some with CFS and Lyme have to do it cuz their system is really screwed up. I did that myself and it was so much better than others who just start at the max dose.. please join a group on facebook called GOT ENDORPHINS? LDN see what others do

One LDN research docs writes this. Dr. J. McCandless writes...

There is a phenomenon that happens to some people that as the immune system is shifting (usually from T2 to T1) right after starting LDN, the immune system drops and people get an infection, cold, flu, cold sore, etc. which is usually short lived. Candida tends to overgrow or a virus will flare up. These infections are usually short-lived...
