I googled "Lisinopril and anxiety" because I wondered if it could be behind the mild sense of anxiety I've been having since starting it. Your post makes me wonder even more; however, I can't really distinguish between whether it's the blood pressure medicine or the reason I'm on it--to keep my blood pressure from causing more atrial fibrillation, which itself has a similar sensation. I am post successful ablation for the a-fib and definitely not having that, but an increased heart rate ever

I had the same experience. Severe headache, leg weakness, and extremely high B/P. They gave me IV Benadryl in the hospital ER and it brought my B/P down. Since I stopped the Linsinopril my B/P had greatly lowered, the headaches are less, and the pressure in my head had decreased. I still have leg weakness. I'm taking routine Benadryl and stopped the Linsinopril 92 hours ago. No more extremely high B/Ps. Thank you for your post, it validates my suspicion that I had (have) brain edema. The

I've took lisinopril and now I have a buildup of mucus in my throat when I lie down at night and sleep it takes about 1-2 hrs before I get it all cleared up and yes my doctor said it could be from the bp meds so he took me off and changed but also iread about someone starting this after receiving there hep b vaccine I have also started it in the last yr

I took lisinopril for years and no problem until
I started new hep c treatment which
Has interferon and ribavirin and sovaldi
I have had a terrible gagging cough for
Over three months now even after therapy
Was over. Tried other bp medicines and
Nothing works. Discontinued bp meds for
Now and cough only bothers me a little
In the later hours of the day
I hope this is not permanent
Or maybe I have interstitial
Peumonitis which can be life
Threatening. Going to pulmonary
Specialists soon

I have the same issue. I just started on Lisinopril and I wake up in the night with a terrible, strangling cough. It can take me an hour or two to get it under control. I'm probably going to need a new med.

I am experiencing the same problem. It just dont feel good it in general. I had diabetes and got rid of that. Lost a lot if weight. Tomorrow I am cutting down to 5 mg a day instead of 10. I wish that I had never been out on it. I have majors leg and joint pain. I exercise a lot and I hurt more than I did before I lost weight and got on this med.
