Pseudotumor Cerebri, taking Diamox and getting Asma. Why I need to get off Diamox. What's next for me
Lol an MRI doesn't show signs of IIH anyway. The only reason you'd have an MRI done is to rule out the possibility of a brain tumor. Only way to know for sure if you have IIH is through a lumbar puncture to test for an abnormal amount of spinal fluid. On another note, getting a stunt because you can't handle one simple side effect is an awful idea. Everyone should do their research before deciding on having surgery. The surgeries are offered for those who are losing their eyesight to IIH. Diamo

have you actually had an MRI for that diagnosis? I was told I had that and was taking the Diamox for it and never had an MRI and recently found out I likely don't have it but I continue the Diamox to help me stop drinking soda

I was told by my doctor that drinking A LOT of water helps with the tingling sensation. I got it my first couple of months but now that I am increasing water intake it helps. I have not had the tingling since then. He recommended for me to get to at least 64ounces a day and try for more. This med will dehydrate you and you need to keep water intake up so that you do not harm kidneys and get kidney stones.

I take Diamox and have had tingling in my fingers and toes but not to the degree you're speaking of.
