They give the Decadron to my mom before each chemo treatment. It helps with nausea and yes, is a steroid, so I imagine helps with inflammation and over-all helps to feel better. Hope...

Yes, they usually give me IV Decadron to help with swelling and nausea. It works but it keeps me wired for a day or so.
