I forgot about this post, but thanks for the response. I've been screened for Lyme, but the test came back negative. I live in southern British Columbia (Canada)-- not sure how prevalent Lyme is here, but I know it's nowhere close to as high as it is further East. I know the tests can be inaccurate, so I guess there's a possibility that Lyme might be the cause. Any ideas on accurate tests to diagnose it?

Consider Lyme disease. A lot of the side effects of Accutane are the symptoms of Lyme. Therefore it makes it tough to know for sure.
