Doxycycine is poison!!
I have been taking these twice a day for almost the last month for my perioral dermititis. I did try taking them without food which is the best way for them to be more effective. However; I did notice that especially in the morning it makes me quite nauseous. You MUST drink alot of water and even if you do you may have to eat a little with them. It is a pretty powerful antibiotic and honestly one of the main issues can be dehydration which can cause all of the symptoms listed in previous post.

Were you guys eating with your antibiotics? They can make you very sick on an empty stomach.

I was put on Doxy 1 100 mg 2 times a day. I started a heacache and nauseous feeling. Kept taking them until the 5th day. My headache was so severe, nausea was worse. I couldn't take the headache anymore. Looked up side effects of doxy and first one was a severe and unusual headache, then nausea....etc. I stopped them, drank lots of water to flush it out of me. Headache gone within a couple of days. Spoke to my dr and got a script for something different.
Whew, worst headache ever!
