Lidocaine Cream
I have found that the Doctor did not prescribe a strong enough mixture for the servere pain I have. What he gave me .3/5/4% much too weak. I have found this mild mixture to be very good on Insect bites though, especially where you have to pull off one of those nasty Ticks!

Breathing problems with cellebrex?
a documented side effect of celebrex is nasal congestion. I take celbrex regularly and suffer from nasal congestion often as a result.

Itching all over...Celebrex, Methotrexate, Hydrochlorothiazide the cause???
The problem could actually be Fibromyalgia, which many people with RA suffer from.

Txbetty and Hal, Like both of you, I have been on Celebrex for at least a year. I also take HCTZ 12.5 mg and started Methotrexate two months ago. I did have itching all over like you described, Txbetty, and I figured out that it was simply the particular brand of folic acid I was taking. It's been a long time since you wrote your post, but I happened to see it and wanted to comment. I assume you are taking folic acid if you are still on MTX; if you are still itching then it is something to

I have been on Celebrex for over a year and had fantastic results. I suffered pain in my neck and shoulders due to arthritis. Celebrex was like a miracle for me. I was going to physio for the pain, which did not good. Now after being pain free for one year I have been experiencing extreme itchiness all over my body. It feels like something crawling in my scalp, eyebrows, nose and beard. Then it feels like something biting me and there is nothing there and I have no bites . Yikes.
