the best and least painful way to use Carac and Efudex
I have been using fluorouracil for over 10 years now and have discovered that there is no need for discomfort or hideous looking skin in treating sun damaged pre-cancerous skin. Use Carac or Efudex for 10 days to 14 days or until your skin starts to look bad and then stop. Use it again for the same amount of time and then stop. You need to hit the 4-week of usage mark and then you will be done. Two series of 14 days should do it! I found this out by practical experience and then my doctor confirmed my findings. He told me that 14 days twice is what many doctors are now advising for painless but thorough treatment.
