Treato analyzes billions of patient discussions to understand what patients are saying about their experience with regard to their treatments, diseases and side effects. Treato algorithmically identifies patients' positive experiences about medications within their Web posts, for example acne that cleared up, high blood pressure that was reduced, a certain drug that "worked", and so forth. Treato aggregates all of these discussions to calculate how many positive patient posts each medication received, relative to other drugs. Note that positive patient posts about medications are always aggregated in relation to a specific condition, since the same medication may be used for more than one condition.

My Recurrent Ulcerative Stomatitis (RUS) or (?) Mouth Auto-Immune Disorder (MAID)
My RUS is into its 3rd year and all six specialists have been flummoxed by its cause. My research in the web took me to a British website 1.5 years ago where the stomatitic symptoms very closely tie up with RUS. The British on-line specialist suspected a case of auto-immune disorder specific in the mouth (inner cheek, all sides of the tongue, with ulcerative stomatitis at the upper base of the tongue). Diets of milk, peanut butter, and salty fish sauce worsen the symptoms. Doctors' attempts to attack the fungal, bacterial, and dental causation angles have been of no avail. For the last 12 months or so, I have focused on my own volition the MAID or auto-immune angle and have been taking 3,000 mg of Vitamin C and six (6) Pharex Vit. B complex a day in three equal intakes: morning, noon, and evening. The symptoms have been moderated from the severe level since but both my nipples began to harden somewhat and is painful when pressed. This past 8 days (up to 7 days, said my doctor) I have been taking 16 mg of Methyl Prednisolone once a day and 50% increments of Vitamin C and Pharex. THE RESULTS ARE IMPRESSIVE FROM THIS COMBINATION AS THE STEROID (METHYL PREDNISOLONE) ALONE DID NOT SEEM TO WORK. I am scheduled to see an infectious diseases specialist this week. I hope you Fellow Sufferers get similar or better relief. Merry Christmas for 2013! In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord, amen.
