Yep please go to the docs, they gave me anusol cream which helped a little. I also bought the suppostries and ...make it easier to go to the loo.

Mikey, I was given some Anusol with hydrocortisone in it (Anusol HC). You can buy it over the counter; it did help with the swelling and pain management. I think you are right...
