advair vs duleria
I was diagnosed with adult asthma, the doctor started me on duleria 200 two puffs twice daily. At first it was better I was not out of breath from doing simple task, as time went on I started have side effects like significant weight loss and muscle cramps. My feet would cramp so bad at might it woke me up. I was also significant nausea, I never threw up but it felt like if I could I would feel better. I stopped the treatment myself and I will see the doctor next week to see what else he can come up with in the mean time I am exploring essential oils.

advair diskus
I have never had any problems with Advair Diskus, no thrush, it hasn't made my GERD worse or caused any other problems. I am very satisfied wit it. I have tried Symbicort and I had an allergic reaction. My insurance now wants me to change to Dulera. When comparing all three meds I'm not sure Dulera will be a good match for me due to my Gerd.

New to Dulera
2033views
I'm new to Dulera and so far so good... I've been asthmatic for 7 years and for a looong time I was in denial. I was only using my Albuterol when needed and after a while it was every day! Now I use 2 puffs of Dulera twice a day and I've seen a dramatic improvement. Also I've found that taking one Fish Oil tablet a day helps my asthma ALOT. Thanks

I too appreciate these post. I have copd and have been on oxygen for 3yrs. I have been using Advair 2x's a day and Spiriva1 X's a day for yrs. My insurance won't pay for my Advair any more and suggested I use Dulera. I am afraid to use a new treatment so reading these have helped. Again, thanks for your imput.

I was prescribed Singulair by my ENT, because I wanted to try something I thought would be a "lighter" form of treatment other than Dulera; after 3 days my skin was feeling as though it was hot, then cold, and being scraped by pins! Also, the dreams I had were vivid and very strange, and I was extremely agitated. So, I am now in the process of making myself try the Dulera, hoping it will work and I won't be allergic!

I was given Dulera over 3 weeks ago, and I am afraid to use it. I have a mild asthma, whistling and a little wheezing at night. One doctor told me he controlled his without meds, and I am so fearful, wishing I wasnt' this way... I am glad to see the positive comments about the drug.

Thank you for posting. I am beginning Dulera this evening for the first time. I have been on Qvar and its not been helping much. So have been on breathing treatments and now beginning Dulera and stopping Qvar. Will post when I have used for a week. Thanks.

side effects of ICS therapy
Interesting. Now, two years later, my nurse practitioner says QVAR does not cause leg cramps. Take it, get leg cramps. Stop taking, no leg cramps. Just a coincidence. I'll have to look into ways to fight the cramping if I want to stay on this stuff.

I am recently on Dulera for 1 1/2 days and has experienced leg cramps really bad. I also experienced leg cramps with Symbicort. I have ashma and the strength is 100 mil. I am only using it with 1 puff.
